720 Twin Lakes Drive
Produced by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department and Office of Cultural Affairs, this cultural tribute honors the memory of family and friends who have passed away. This traditional and immersive festival, open to all ages, will feature special entertainment, children’s activities, artisan vendors, food, face-painting and an exhibition of altars created by community organizations and groups. Festival headliner Viento Callejero represents the newest incarnation of the Latin music movement in Los Angeles, breaking down the rhythmic and melodic pulse of Cumbia and fusing it with electronic experimental and psychedelic soundscapes.
The Dia de los Muertos celebration is free, open to the public and family-friendly!
